2015 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk Owner's Manual

The Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk is the most powerful off-roader in the series, which has got Active Drive Lock transmission, 221 mm ground clearance and wide tires. Its engine has a capacity of 3.2 liters with 272 hp, and German ZF automatic transmission. Before the restyling of this model there was a diesel engine, but sales with it did not justify. The changes in the cabin are minimal: the backrest of the front seats became a little lower, and the headrests rest heavily on the back of the head, the rear part is spacious, the trunk is deep. For multimedia is responsible 8.4-inch screen system Uconnect. There are no complaints about the speed, but it is quite difficult to understand the control.
Back in 2015 the Cherokee was the first model that received a 9-speed automatic transmission from ZF. In today’s model there is a similar box, but there are several transmissions: all-wheel drive Active Drive 1 and front-wheel drive in the base version. When driving on the highway only front-wheel drive works, such mode saves fuel. The system Active Drive 2 is similar to the first generation, but it has a feature – the reduced gear and a reducer on each axis. Having left on a smooth road the car goes smoothly, the petrol engine, unlike the diesel one, consumes about 14 liters per 100 kilometers.
