2024 Jeep Grand Wagoneer specification

The car is built on a frame base that was borrowed from the Ram 1500 pickup truck. However, the designers still finished the platform by installing an independent rear suspension to improve controllability and smoothness of the ride. Also, the chassis of the SUV is equipped with a pneumatic system capable of increasing ground clearance by 9 cm.

On the road, this design ensures maximum smoothness of the ride and adequate driving comfort. But in contrast, the Grand Wagoneer is prone to body rolls on winding roads, and insufficient steering response. New powertrains

The new engine equipped with the model is a straight six with two turbochargers with a total volume of 3.0 liters and a power of 510 hp. The unit is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive. The car covers the first hundred kilometers in 5.0 seconds, which is a very significant result for a six-cylinder engine, considering the weight of the SUV is approximately 2900 kg, depending on the configuration.

The 6.4-liter V8 unit familiar to all fans of the brand is also available. The power of the engine is 471 hp, and the torque is 617 Nm, which allows you to tow with a loaded weight of 4.5 tons. Despite the large volume, the engine is more economical compared to the new 3.0 l, and also has a more pleasant sound characteristic of all V8s.

Interior

Both the basic and extended versions are equipped with three rows of seats. What’s more, the third row of seats is not a dummy at all and is equipped with its own ventilation deflectors, electric seat back tilt adjustment and a separate hatch in the roof. There is enough space for the legs even for an adult, who can fully accommodate himself with proper comfort. For the passengers of the second row, a liquid crystal display with touch control of the climate control, heating and ventilation of the seats is displayed on the central console. There are also a total of 8 USB outputs and Type-C ports and two sockets for 115W and 15W.

Among other interesting interior options, you can highlight a projection on the windshield, a rearview mirror with a rearview camera, 2 monitors between the front and rear rows of seats with a diagonal of 10.1 inches. On the roof of the car there is a three-leaf glass panorama, which adds additional visual space to the already huge interior.

As befits the class of the car, the interior is decorated with expensive materials, combining leather, wood and soft plastic that is pleasant to the touch. The company’s engineers have properly worked out all the details for the maximum convenience of each passenger.

The Grand Wagoneer model is undoubtedly able to compete for leadership in its class in terms of equipment and luxury. Among the options not listed, it is worth adding: 22-inch wheels and side mirrors with an electric drive, the instrument panel is made in the form of a 12.3-inch display, the main 12-inch multimedia screen that displays the image from the all-around cameras and a premium audio system with 23 speakers.
