2024 Jeep Renegade is a compact crossover that combines power, practicality and unique design. After the update, the car received advanced technologies and important functions that allowed to improve performance and increase the level of safety. Among the main changes is the abandonment of the front-wheel drive version.

The strengths of the crossover are considered to be the ability to overcome off-road conditions, powerful engines, and a clear multimedia system. The car has minor shortcomings, namely insufficient noise insulation, and it is also worth improving the level of economy.

Exterior

The exterior design of the car hints at its confident and powerful character. The traditional logo of the brand is located on the radiator grill. The grille has seven separate segments, vertically arranged and framed in silver.

2024 Jeep Renegade Specifications

The new 2024 Jeep Renegade offers a pair of powertrains. It is possible to choose the best option depending on the needs and driving style.

For the basic version, an in-line 4-cylinder turbocharged power unit with a working volume of 1.3 liters is offered. The engine power is 177 horsepower, the torque figure is 271 Nm. An all-wheel drive transmission provides energetic and comfortable driving. The motor is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission.

There is also a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder Tigershark MultiAir in-line engine that produces up to 180 horsepower. The torque figure is 237 Nm. Works with a 9-speed gearbox.

Thanks to the advanced suspension system, the car has impressive off-road characteristics. Overcoming difficult terrain is possible thanks to the 4×4 system and traction control technology. The towing capacity of the car is 907 kg.

The crossover received the Trail Rated award, which indicates the successful completion of tests and trials of the following characteristics: traction, maneuverability, clearance, hinged connection, and others.

The SUV successfully overcomes various terrains – sand, snow, mud, stones. An additional automatic option allows you to prevent slipping.

Fuel consumption

Fuel consumption is 9.8 liters in the city and 7.3 liters per 100 km on the highway. Such indicators allow you to confidently compete with other cars in this segment.

Interior

The interior of the car impresses with thoughtfulness and maximum filling with comfort systems and innovative technologies. There is enough space for small things: in the door pockets, behind the seats, cup holders, etc.

A choice of fabric colors and even seams are available. For top equipment, the use of high-quality materials is provided, which add sophistication and luxury to the interior.

The front seats and steering wheel are heated. The heating function is also provided for external mirrors. Comfort in the cabin is provided by two-zone climate control.
The rear seats can be easily folded down for extra luggage space.

The multimedia system varies depending on the selected configuration. A 5-inch touchscreen display is provided for the standard equipment level. Screens with a diagonal of 7 and 8.4 inches are also available. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto applications, Sirius XM satellite radio are provided for the car. The Uconnect program allows you to unlock the car remotely.
In addition, a Wi-fi access point with a range of 15 m and more than 75 security functions is provided.

Safety systems

The car is equipped with a set of safety functions. Advanced high-strength steel also protects drivers and passengers.
The list of standard functions includes disc anti-lock brakes, a reversing camera, and a stabilization system.

Passive safety systems include 7 airbags.
Adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, lane keeping and lane departure warning, frontal collision prevention with automatic emergency braking are additionally available.

A series of parking assistants attracts special attention: rear parking assistance system, rear view camera, assistance for parallel or perpendicular parking, assistance for exiting the parking lot.
