In America, there is a special attitude to cars, each manufacturer has created a car to show the way of thinking of their country. The brutal and powerful 2018 Jeep Patriot is just such a car. Five-door, austere body, the motor from 159 to 175 hp depending on the configuration, full or front-wheel drive, L4 engine and “five-speed” mechanics – these are the main characteristics of the Patriot. It is worth noting that this model has a manual, stepless variator in the box, this system is much more durable than the standard automatic transmission. Technical characteristics are aimed at the safest and most reliable ride, providing a high cross-country capability.

As mentioned earlier, the 2.4 liter L4 engine was developed together with Mitsubishi and Hyundai. The proprietary VVT variable valve timing system increases traction and consequently engine power without creating much vibration or noise from the engine. The balancer shafts and valve cover are made of several layers of steel with noise-absorbing material.

The exterior of the 2018 Patriot is austere and modern: round headlights, flat body panels, and trapezoidal wheel arches give the car a pleasing look.

Inside, the Patriot is the epitome of reliability and comfort; the seat and upholstery materials are easy to clean and of high quality. The front and rear seats are equipped with cup holders, and the front panel has everything for long journeys. As for safety, the Patriot has Brake Assist emergency braking and driver and passenger airbags.
